If you are interested on presenting a paper in a round table session, you must send an abstract according to the Call for papers. Additionally, you must complete this registration form. At the end of the event you will receive a participation diploma.


Call for papers

If you are interested in presenting a paper in a round table session, you must send an abstract that meets the following guidelines:

1. Submit an abstract which describes your topic, project and/or research related to one of the seminar main topics:

Going digital impact on education
International and multicultural distance education
Innovative teaching-learning strategies based on ICT
Distance Education project management
New methodologies for web-based course design and development

2. All abstracts must not exceed 500 words, they should be written in continuous text, including: title, key words, objective, description of the project or research, results, references. Photographs, figures and charts should not be used.

3. All abstracts must follow APA (American Psychological Association) format.

4. All abstract must be submitted in only one language: English or Spanish

5. Submit the abstract online, using the appropriate form.

6. Abstract submissions are due by May 11th, 2009.

7. A Scientific Committee will review all abstracts. Acceptance (or non-acceptance) notification will be made via e-mail to the corresponding author within two weeks after the submission deadline.

8. If an abstract is accepted for presentation, author(s) must send the full paper before May 29th, 2009, via e-mail to: internacional.uv@itesm.mx. Full papers should include:

Title, key words, abstract, introduction, description of the project, research or successful experience, findings or results, discussion and references.
Full paper must not exceed 15 pages (including photographs, figures, charts and list of references).
We strongly recommend to provide presentation materials, such as handouts, slide presentations or other material no later than two weeks before the International seminar start date.




Call for papers opens: on March 20th, 2009.
Deadline for abstracts submitting: May 11th, 2009.
Acceptance notification: May 24th, 2009.
Deadline for full papers submitting: June 6th, 2009.
International seminar start date: June 25th, 2009.
